Do you know a young man or a young woman over 21 years old, with mental disabilities, whose physical capacity allows him or her to be integrated into a community where labor and social-cultural activities go hand in hand?

“Pantelimon” Sociotherapy Center is the right place for that person: we encourage responsible and independent living for those who want and can contribute through work and their enthusiasm in a favorable environment for social integration of adults with special needs.

Before starting the admission process in the center, invite potential applicants and their families to visit us. Weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we organize tours of the Center at 10.00 and 14.30.

Please call in advance at no (004) 0726 339 980 (Mugur Ciobanu) to schedule your personal tour date and time.

The admission process has two phases:
Qualification: At this stage, we check if the Centre’s services fulfill the needs of the young beneficiaries.
The adaptation: At this stage, the young beneficiary goes through an integration personalized program at the end of which we will know whether or not he can be integrated into life in the center.

Faza 1 Calificarea

Phase 1 Qualification

  • Step 1: Filling the “Registration Form” and “Preliminary Registration Questionnaire” (which can be downloaded hereCerere inscriere and here Chestionar preliminar de inscriere). The completed form can be faxed, e-mailed, mailed or can be brought when paying the visiting tour of the Center, together with copies of certificates of disability and other relevant medical documents.
  • Step 2: Admission committee meeting and analysis of documents mentioned above, within 2 weeks from the moment of receiving them.
  • Step 3: The applicant and his/her family will be invited for an interview with the admissions committee, in order to discuss in detail about the needs and expectations of the applicant, and capacity of the Center to achieve them. If the answer is yes, we proceed to the next stage of the admissions process, namely the integration of the applicant.

Phase 2 Adaptation

The duration and form of this phase varies from applicant to applicant. In principle it may take between 1 and 6 months, and consists of:

  • Several visits of the young beneficiary at the Center
  • A period of staying at the Center, with the objective of adaptation, agreed with his family
  • Admission committee evaluates the adaptation stage for the young beneficiaries in the center and provides a final resolution
  • Meeting with the applicant family to set goals for personal development of the young beneficiaries and action plan that will be part of the social services contract that will be concluded between the Centre and family.
