Vacation home in Slănic Prahova

In the heart of nature, in a peaceful and charming setting, the Prietenia Association owns a traditional Romanian house in Slănic Prahova, carefully restored and adapted to current needs. We have preserved the beauty and warmth of the authentic architecture, combining it with the necessary comfort to offer our beneficiaries a welcoming, safe and lively place.

The holiday home is a special space where beneficiaries participate, year after year, in the summer camps organized by the association. Here they escape from their daily routine, spend time in nature, and live experiences that develop their autonomy, self-confidence, and sense of belonging to the community.

The camp program harmoniously combines relaxation with educational and therapeutic activities. Beneficiaries participate in nature walks, excursions in the surroundings of Slănic, group games, musical evenings, creative workshops, artistic activities, dance, moments of meditation and personal development exercises, inspired by the principles of Waldorf pedagogy. Each activity is adapted to the needs and possibilities of each person and aims to develop social, cognitive and practical skills.

Life in the camp also means involvement in household activities. Beneficiaries are encouraged to participate in preparing meals, arranging rooms, maintaining cleanliness, taking care of common areas and organizing daily activities. In this way, they develop responsibility, independence and the joy of contributing to community life.

The generous yard, the fresh air and the beauty of the landscapes transform every day into an unforgettable experience. The moments spent together, around a table, singing, telling stories or admiring nature – strengthen the relationships between beneficiaries, employees and parents and create memories that remain in the soul for a long time.

For the Prietenia Association, this house is more than a vacation destination. It is a place of joy, healing through nature, friendship and personal development. Here, each person is encouraged to discover what they can do, to overcome their limits and to feel appreciated, respected and loved.
